• The 5-Generation Workforce with Sue Bhatia — According to Bloomberg reporting, thirty percent of of people aged 65-74 will be employed in the workplace by 2026 alongside younger generations; and recent research shows that offices with many different generations working side-by-side are happier, more productive, and creative. Unlocking the potential of a multi-generational workforce can be a huge impetus for innovation and growth.
• Using AI to Unlock People Power with Brian Garish and Bryan Throckmorton — The veterinary industry is driven by people, yet veterinary professionals are in short supply. Banfield Pet Hospital, the largest general veterinary practice in the U.S., relies on highly specialized veterinary associates to care for pets, serve clients, and stay competitive with leading science and market leadership. As part of its holistic strategy to be an employer of choice, Banfield set out to enable better prediction of the types of drivers that attract, retain and engage talent by partnering with IBM to develop the People Power Index. Using machine learning, the People Power Index examines more than 200,000 individual data records and hundreds of possible drivers, enabling the practice to predict with more than 86% accuracy the top drivers for doctor turnover and address potential issues before they occur.
