A climate for action is coming to Seattle, July 10–13, 2024.

We're assembling Earth's foremost collaborators, activists and innovators to lead the way towards a new climate era. Operating across sustainability, design, culture, food, tech, data, science, policy and entertainment - attendees will participate in solutions-driven experiences alongside world-renowned experts to demonstrate meaningful climate action.

All of Seattle is invited to enjoy and engage with our free outdoor programming. From live music and dance performances to interactive games and group meditation - we’re spreading the culture of imaginative climate action to everybody who wants to participate. Highlights include: Greener Food Trivia Contest, Climate Comedy Cohort Stand-Up Show, Climate Anxiety Counseling.

Bloomberg Green TED Countdown

We are excited to partner with TED Countdown. The TED session will occur on Thursday, July 11 at the Green Stage. In this two-hour session, we'll dive into the current state of climate, big-picture thinking about the economy, solutions for heavy industry, the interplay of climate and democracy, and more.

Restaurant & Bar Series

This series, curated specifically for the Green Festival, will be held at some of Seattle’s most notable restaurants and bars, selected for their commitment to sustainability. The series highlights the rich diversity of local cuisine, the makers, growers and producers, and the many facets of regenerative sustainability.

Square Mile Relay

Bloomberg Square Mile Relay brings together teams of runners to take on the challenge of an exciting one-mile lap. Taking place in 14 of the most vibrant cities, it uses the power of physical activity to address social challenges in each city.

Collaborate with experts and peers alike during our interactive breakout sessions including town halls, roundtables, workshops and scenario-planning exercises.

We are excited to partner with TED Countdown. The TED session will occur on Thursday, July 11 at the Green Stage. In this two-hour session, we'll dive into the current state of climate, big-picture thinking about the economy, solutions for heavy industry, the interplay of climate and democracy, and more. You’ll hear from seven amazing speakers, including climate scientist Johan Rockström, professor of engineering Deb Chachra, climate reporter Akshat Rathi, and more. Logan McClure Davda, TED’s Head of Impact, and Manoush Zomorodi, host of NPR’s TED Radio Hour will host the evening.

Explore game-changing greener living solutions from reimagined versions of household items to breakthrough technologies that will lower your carbon footprint.

Excursions

Go beyond the festival campus to connect with nature and engage in real-world climate action. Immerse yourself in the breathtaking forests and coastlines of Puget Sound through guided hikes and tour local destinations bringing climate solutions to life.

Restaurant and Bar Series

The Green Festival Restaurant and Bar Series will be held at some of Seattle’s most notable restaurants and bars, selected for their commitment to sustainability. Each of the experiences will be created specifically for and available on that night only in celebration of the Green Festival event. This series celebrates not just notable Chefs and craft bartenders, but also their collaborators: the growers, makers, producers, and the collectives, food hubs, and community and environmental restoration funds they hold most dear. It highlights the rich diversity of local cuisine and the many facets of regenerative sustainability. The Green Restaurant Series and Bar Activation experiences are bookable exclusively through the restaurants and bars.
